I Have Plans was a word God gave to me years ago that gave me hope while navigating hard seasons, gave me courage to assert boundaries when people pleasing seemed easier, perspective to take better care of my body, built my character so that slow gratification felt more satisfying than a quick dopamine hit, and so much more! This statement helped me see me the way God saw me, and changed my life’s posture.

My prayer and purpose here is to give you the invitation that God gave to me.

I Have Plans exists as a reminder, a declaration, and an invitation to agree with God: there’s always something to look forward to—and something worth preparing for—because He has plans for you. This is not about living your life in optimistic delusion just to make it through the day. This isn’t just about healing from hard seasons or further deployment for God’s “strong soldiers”. It’s about learning to stop merely existing in complacency or what was, and to start living with expectancy—the quiet thrill of trusting the Word of the God who actually follows through. It’s about lingering in the care of His fatherhood, being daily guided by His Spirit, aligning with His Word, declining old appetites, and giving yourself full permission to explore and expect more… because you have plans.
